New 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Race Car
Cadillac has announced that she wants to race again in 2011 with a race-ready version of its CTS-V Coupe to compete in Sports Car Club of America World Challenge, the top North American production-based racing series.
Cadillac returns to movements in the series, which struggled in 2004 and 2007. Compete in the GT class with CTS-V sedan, Cadillac manufacturers captured championships in 2005 and 2007 Drivers' Championship in 2005.
Cadillac fields two teams in the upcoming SCCA World Challenge GT-class racing on the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. CTS-V line, which is a sedan, the CTS-V and CTS-V wagon covers, was recently named Car and Driver magazine Top 10 list for 2011.
Cadillac is working with Pratt & Miller, New Hudson, Michigan, an engineering firm specializing in motorsports development of the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe car. Although some parts of the production CTS-V will change with respect to the unique requirements of the facility or the SCCA series' technical regulations that efforts to produce as much content as possible to maintain compliance.

New 2011 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid
This report provides a quick overview of the features and specifications for the 2011 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid.
Cadillac Escalade Hybrid uses GM's 2-Mode Hybrid system to reduce fuel consumption while maintaining the traditional features of a full-size SUV. It is available in rear-wheel drive form, and its hybrid system works with 6.0-liter V-8 engine. Key competitors are linked to the Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid and GMC Yukon Hybrid. Well-equipped trim levels base Escalade Hybrid and Platinum models.
New for 2011
Free scheduled maintenance for four years or 50,000 miles is now a part of, and Cadillac says, laminated windshield and front row side windows to reduce wind noise. The standard OnStar communication system is improved for speech recognition, which Cadillac says that better understanding of the regional language. EPA fuel estimates are revised to 20/23 mpg city / highway for 2011 two-wheel-drive mode.
Outdoor
The general form Escalade Hybrid is very different from the conventional counterpart, but Cadillac has added hybrid badges on the wings, the C-pillar and tailgate. With all this extra equipment works, there will be questions in the minds of passersby, and what kind of vehicle. Physical features include:
* Standard 22-inch chrome wheels
* Standard power tailgate
* Standard xenon headlights
* Optional LED lamps
* An optional retractable running boards
* Standard rear parking sensors and backup cameras
Interior
The cabin is generally the same as the regular Escalade, but there are a number of hybrid-specific. The Escalade Hybrid gets half meter dash that the performance of the vehicle and instrument panel, a hybrid graphics monitors, too. The standard navigation system screen can also display a graphical representation of the hybrid system and its operation. Interior features include:
* Standard leather interior
* Three rows of seats up to eight
* Standard power front seats
* The standard heated and cooled front seats
* Standard heated second row seats
* Standard three-zone climate control
* Standard moonroof
* Optional heated and cooled cup holders
* Standard USB / iPod connectivity
Under the hood

Cadillac SRX developing plug-in hybrid crossover
According to a recent report, the Cadillac SRX-based development of plug-in hybrids.
Details are limited, but Automotive News says that the crossover will use the Volt technology and can draw on experience from previous wide range of vehicles (aka the deceased and the Saturn Vue compact crossover, the Buick stillborn).
As previously reported, the Vue-ick output for use with a two-mode hybrid system with a 257 hp (192 kW / 261 hp) 3.6-liter V6 featured Battery 8 kWh lithium-ion battery. This will allow the transition to travel 10 miles (16 km) on electricity alone, and twice as fuel than a comparable large SUV for short trips. "
It's not about when it will be launched in the Cadillac, but is expected to hit the market sometime in the coming years.

2010 Cadillac Sports Cars Concept SRV Concept Cars
This is the concept of next Cadillac. This concept is an idea from its Wayne Cherry who is responsible in making design concept. After a distinguished career at General Motors that culminated in his being appointed only the fifth vice president of design in the company’s history, he decided to build a concept car of his own.

Wayne Cherry has always loved concept cars. Then you take a close look at Cherry’s VSR street rod, at the hardware, the workmanship, and, most of all, the design, and you realize it could easily take center stage as a concept car on the GM stand at the next international auto show.
"You just can't stop designing, you just can't stop being involved with cars," Cherry explains. "You start to do something like this, and it turns into a concept vehicle." He makes it sound like a winter garage project that got a little out of control, which at a basic level perhaps isn't a million miles from the truth.
Then you take a close look at Cherry's VSR street rod, at the hardware, the workmanship, and, most of all, the design, and you realize it could easily take center stage as a concept car on the GM stand at the next international auto show.
He joined GM in 1962, straight out of California’s Art Center design school, and was assigned to the advanced design studio at the Tech Center, where, among his first assignments, he assisted on a project that became the first Oldsmobile Toronado, one of the high watermarks of Bill Mitchell’s stint as GM design chief.
At Vauxhall, he worked on the gullwing XVR, the brand's first-ever concept car, which was unveiled at the 1966 Geneva show. His wild, mid-engine SRV, shown at the 1970 Earls Court Motor Show in London, was a four-door, four-seater that stood just 41 inches tall.
The Equus, one of the star concepts of 1978, was a crisp, state-of-the-moment roadster that rivaled the best from Bertone and Pininfarina. "That's the most uncompromised design I've ever worked on," Cherry said at the time.
